Grey and obscured skies with light to moderate snowfall throughout the day—very little wind.
Snowpack
Southerly slopes wrapping around to the east that were previously wet are now capped by a thick melt/freeze crust. I dug on due south and below the crust; the remaining snow was still moist but not concerning. North aspects had a thin crust but otherwise dry snow and no real layer of concern in the upper snowpack. Around the thin crust were some small facets, but they appeared to be rounding. The new snow improved the skiing/travel, but was not a concern for avalanches.
