Quick report
We skied Cache Couloir and didn't see anything particularly notable. Our main concern today was potential wind slabs. But with the amount of tracks in the couloir, and our observations, that particular hazard seemed fairly unlikely. I conducted some hand pits around 4700, on a likely wind loaded, NNE aspect. They took a fair amount of force to fail, but the break was planar (about 16 inches down) when they did. We observed graupel falling at multiple times throughout the day. Weather was mostly overcast, and breezy.
