Quick report

On the NE aspect of Lincoln’s Beard, a slide off the backside of Mount Lincoln into the Pemi, we observed an old crown line and debris field, from what looked like a large avalanche, likely during the recent period of peak instability. While this area is outside the forecast zone and it was an old avalanche, I thought I’d submit it for historical record. Since this is an area that’s not explored much, is lower angle than most terrain in the White Mountains (around 30 degrees), and generally doesn’t hold much snow.
