We toured two laps on the north side of Galena Ridge and found wind affected snow on most aspects. It varied in thickness from very minor to a couple of inches and able to support us as we climbed. Surprisingly, in some areas it was worse as we went lower, towards the power lines. I suspect The wind may have whipped up the canyon. As we see our own skin track on the second lap, we saw evidence of settlement with cracking as well as cracking of the slab below our track (see photos).
