Throughout our tour we experienced a broken sky with clouds quickly moving over the summit cone. Down low and mostly up until jacobs ladder we were protected by the winds. Once at jacobs ladder wind shelter was gone and winds were moderate sustained with higher end of moderate gusts. Thus stopping us there. Previous wind transport and while there noticed minimal snow available for transport.

Snowpack

At the base of the cog (2500’) surface snow density was F and unaffected. At 3300’ density changed to 4F. 4F to 1F change at 4000’ Scoured and variable at 4725’ and above jacobs ladder
