Quick report

No signs of instability or avalanche activity. Snowpack varies between 1cm frozen crust over rain saturated snow, to near solid ice where rain collected and froze in bands where the strongest winds caused localized cooling. Prior wind sculpted snow is now frozen in place. I tried to take a picture of these interesting patterns. No ski penetration, minimal 3cm boot penetration through crust into firm consolidated lower layer. Skiing lower down below tree line was not technically terrible, mostly sticky saturated spring-like slush.
