Likely caused by small cornice fall that may have been triggered by snowmobile traffic on the ridge. I saw riders pass by upper ridge near the avalanches spot earlier in the day and when I got up to that area the avalanche was pretty fresh. looked to be 12-16" deep running a couple hundred feet. Large pieces of cornice slid much farther down than the debris pile. Windloaded ridges were sensitive today and cornices breaking easily.
