No signs of instability or avalanche activity observed. Pit dug at 9,300' on a North aspect had ECTN18 on top of the basal facets. Snow around 9,000' ranged from 60 to 90cm, and in some areas was noticeably hollow underfoot when stepping into to the basal facets. No signs of instability.
