Quick report
Found a couple cm of decomposed surface hoar through Swift Creek and up the roughly northern aspects of Mount Ann. Wind affect at the ridgeline with some rocks poking through, as one might expect. Eastern aspects around 5500 feet and up had a thin icy crust, which we could easily set a boot track in without crampons. Winds at the summit were light and variable. Northern aspects had maybe 5-10 cm of soft snow over a supportable (but not bulletproof) crust, making for excellent skiing! Saw some older signs of cornice fall and roller balls in the region, but nothing evident from the last few days. Southern aspects softened up by 1:30ish to make great skiing as well.
