Wind textured and variable snowpack throughout on south aspects. 20-30+mph gusts funneled south into boulder field in the morning. No wind experienced above treeline. Small collapse with cracking noticed near the top of the tree line. Cracking noticed while exiting the slide path. Which ran nearly the length of the slide. Unsure whether due to the avalanche or our exit attempt we
Avalanche
Triggered a wind slab avalanche while skinning up the standard el dorado trail at 6200ft on a SE aspect. Was partially buried and needed help to get out. Estimated 1.5ft crown.
