Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Mix of snow and sleet throughout the day with consistent moderate W wind. Observed long shooting cracks and shallow but reactive wind slabs in isolated features. A group member was stomping on snow to work hardened it before making a bollard and remotely triggered the cornice fall. About 200’ of cornice fell onto a surface slab that had formed from the wind. Very large, wet, heavy chunks of debris.
