Quick report
Climbers Trail to IllumSad to “200 Turns” (ridge saddle/PCT Xing) to Govy Skiway/Maggies via PCT/Glade w a bit of Little Zigzag Canyon ascent (saw lots of evidence of warm snow instabilities on both canyon wall sides, but stable for me while there in the cool evening…tho still chose exit spot/manner carefully.) Bluebird day w tad chill in air & min wind. By late descent time, forced to ridge over crusting of 200 Turns proper, but silver lining allowed stability check of Big ZZ rollovers after seeing crown from IllumSad (pic). During quality descent (fyi few tight exposed spots down low not advisable w avy instability) on ridge, ski cut westerly facing lips wo incident. Saw earlier wet instabilities while leveraging helpful animals tracks to follow PCT back to Timberline. Fyi - also noticed twinkling snow warning of possible surface hoar formation in advance of coming system.
