Quick report

Westerly winds 20-30mph crossing grass lake, with heavy snow and whiteout conditions at 3pm. Snow continued throughout the climb, with swirling winds near the summit, occasionally blowing snow from the east. 2-3cm soft windslab observed forming above 9000' only in isolated areas with least tree cover. 10-20cm of new snow observed near the summit which skied quite well until about 8500' at which point the melt crust was much more obvious. Snow stopped completely when crossing back across the meadow around 4:30pm. Snow was observed blowing out of the trees and off rocks on both sides of the highway by a westerly wind.
