Occasional showers in am became steady light to moderate snow in early pm, but eased to almost nil in late pm. Observed intense wind transport S of pass in S San Juan Wilderness (Summit and Montezuma peaks.)

No signs of instability. Ski penetration about 20cm, foot penetration 65cm.
