Quick report
Snow was warm and soft when we started up at 3:30pm. Boots penetrated to ankle depth. I saw a few old roller balls on steep slopes, but it looked like nothing had moved in a few days. Travel conditions were generally easy; lots of holes into the creek, but still plenty of snow bridges. Above treeline, coverage was good except for a few rocks poking through on steep slopes. Around 5, clouds rolled in and a hard crust formed which made for pretty unpleasant skiing.
