Quick report
We toured lower Kendall Trees. The travel and ski conditions were really nice! There weren’t many remaining travel hazards (most branches, etc. have been covered up nicely) but there were still creek holes open down low that funneled us. There were a couple of inches of light fresh powder snow over a hard rain crust. We did not see any signs of instabilities in the trees. It was pretty cold (for our WA standards) in the morning and warmed up a bit by the time we were heading out (12:30) but precipitation was still coming down as snow. It was lightly snowing the whole time we were out (~8am-12:30).
