Quick report
Went up Phantom Trees, down Slot Couloir, then back over Thunder Col. No signs of instability, but there were some big rollerballs around. The snow from Thursday was warm and weak and did slide a bit on the crust 6" down, but didn't propagate and never slid under its own weight. There was 1-2" of snow overnight, clearly blown around by a south/west breeze (pictured), but we didn't see any scouring to a crust. Slot skiied like a dream, soft but very little loose snow and no instability (pictured). Going up Thunder Col was slow; the snow was getting warm and almost sticky, there were rollerballs (up to 1.5') everywhere (from yesterday?), and it was deep, sinking almost to knees while booting. No one else had gone up there since the snow last week, not sure why. By the time we were there at ~2 pm, things were cooling off and we saw no instability. Great day, but it was raining a bit coming down.
