Quick report

Skinned up with bowl Saturday evening with the intention of going to Pt 6. The snow (what is left) up to 6500' was still isothermic and I could sink a pole to the ground off trail. Around 7000' the snow had a base to it and appeared to have been deep enough to avoid going totally isothermic, but still had a wet layer a foot deep you could punch a pole into. At 7500' things were pretty solid. The upper elevation snow off trail was a light crust that may have been skiable but didn't look fun at all so I ended up sticking to the groomers. It was all in all a reminder than a high of 75 makes the snow disappear, especially below 6500'.
