Avalanche: Pole Line Pass

Looker's right of pole line ascent to Cardiff Pass, we heard the slide fracture on the convexity/angle change. We were well away (west) of the convex roll but could see the slide run into the gully. It failed on the surface/rocks as you can see in the photo, and the fracture propagated down the roll (south) of fall line of the gully.
