Quick report

=Excellent snow conditions. "It could be deeper, but it may not be better". Skied SE, E, and North aspects from 7200' down to 4400'. =Surface conditions compromised mostly of developing surface hoar, 1-4mm. All aspects, most noticeable above 5000'. =Steeper westerly aspects were solar effected, 1cm crust. No surface hoar. =Calm winds for most of the day with a short period of localized moderate gusts mid afternoon. =Temps were in the single digits in the am, valley bottoms, teens along the ridge tops, and 27 back at the car at 5:30. =Broken mid level stratus throughout the day, with increasing altostratus late in the day helping to keep the solar effect at bay. =Paola Creek Road is becoming a loosing battle.
