Headed to Cardio e last time before the forecasted storm. Skied a E almost SE run first which was basically dust on crust with a thin layer of facets underneath underneath. Then skied Hansens, a run on the S end of Cardiac Ridge where i dug a pit on a NE facing slope at 9700 ft. The pit consisted of light density snow on top, a 2 to 3 finger slab mid pack and a pile of well developed facets at the base. We continued on to Cardiac Bowl, it had the same set up in the starting zone but a firmer wind slab mid pack.
