Quick report

Snowmachined into the basin, there were a few rocky patches along the lateral moraine but mostly snow covered. Snowmachining and skinning up to ~5800', we had clear visibility and did not observe any recent avalanches, nor snowpack cracking/collapsing. We skied down along a N/NW aspect to ~5190', when the basin started to cloud up. We had poor visibility and minor snowfall throughout the rest of our ski out, primarily on low angle terrain (< 30 degrees). Dug a snow pit at 5190', we observed roughly 15 cm of fresh snow (fist strength) underlain by roughly 115 cm of bonded rounds (1 finger/pencil strength),the fresh snow is starting to consolidate but still feels like a powdery surface while skiing, we had a CT 14 Q3 at 15 cm depth. ECT N 28 at 120 cm. Bottom of snow pit at ~130 cm depth.
