Quick report
Recent slab avalanches on steeps across valley, see attached pic. and D1 wet loose mid day. Clear, sunny and warm. Wet snow surfaces, except on isolated shaded north aspect at 2pm. 6800' SE aspect, Height of snow 210cm. Feb 3rd hard crust down 140cm-Felt by probe. From surface down, theTop 50cm, hand hardness F-4F-1F. CT12 Q2 and ECTN21 down 20cm on storm interface. At 1pm- top 5cm surface was wet snow Didn't find the surface hoar buried last weekend but may have been interface with results 20cm down. We opted for a dry shaded north aspect later in day over a sun weakened east aspect.
