Observed localized cracking, flagging on all N facing aspects and remotely triggered small storm slabs, indicating high sensitivity within recent storm snow. Measured 32 cm of new snow 11:45 @8,500 ft on a NE aspect, with a total snow depth (HS) of 131 cm. Moderate snowfall in the morning intensified through the late morning. SSW winds increased from moderate to strong around 11:00, with active snow transport observed on N facing aspects. Unstable recent storm snow, particularly in wind loaded leeward terrain. Conditions supported small but sensitive storm and wind slabs capable of remote triggering.

Moderate snowfall in the morning quickly led to sensitive, reactive wind/ storm slabs as new snow accumulated. Increasing SSW winds led to active transport and wind loading on all northerly aspects. While descending Mammoth Rock, we remotely triggered two small storm slabs (D1) shallow crowns (5–8 cm).
