Quick report

The uptick of Northern winds throughout the range (from at least Devils Thumb to Summit) keep an eye on wind loaded ridges and south faces.

Be weary of any new snow (or wind transported snow) on top of the surface facets this could become our problem weak layer if/when it gets buried.

A few wet loose avalanches but with the cooler temperatures not as many, mostly from yesterday. Widespread near surface faceting. Potential wind loading on southern aspects

Snowpack

Top layer had soft snow for most areas (5-10 cm). Some wind scoured faces, and solar aspects had some crusts.

Big piece of note is once again the wide spread near surface faceting.

Avalanche

Several Day old wet loose slides on solar aspects
