Kind of thought it would go and sure enough on approach it went. Did feel some collapsing throughout the day but was on low angle terrain Crown was about 2 feet. 150 feet wide and ran about 700 feet

Sun was in and out. Don’t think heat had anything to do with this one. Perfect slope angle and small wind loading at starting point
Snowpack
Much more of a slab formation then yesterday. Still very deep up high but is stating to form a slab and has a very positive sliding surface.

Failed on approach. Saw cracking and ran about 700 feet and was 150 feet wide. Was all the new snow over the past few storms. Failed on old crust with facets present. Slope was exactly 30 degrees on a NE aspect at 8800 feet. Soft Slab
