I took advantage of the nice light to get photos of slopes and start zones. Visually cataloging snow surfaces, recent skier traffic, and some smaller loose avalanches that occurred in the past week.

Calm, cold, with quite a bit of sun. No evidence of recent wind.
Avalanche
I saw a handful of small, D1, loose avalanches on steep sunny slopes. Mostly older loose dry, some wet. Most appeared to be at least 48hrs old, though there could've been a few that happened since the 8th.
