The good views allowed me to catalog the significant, widespread avalanche cycle from 3/23-24. I saw avalanches at all elevations and aspects, and of many types. Avalanches at low elevation were in the D1-2 size with more wet loose than slabs. I saw a number of larger slab avalanches, D2.5 and bigger, at middle and upper elevations. The largest crowns were on leeward, easterly upper elevation slopes. Based on temperatures and runneled snow surfaces, it appears that all the avalanches that I saw were wet, up to at least 7,000ft.
