On SE aspects, snow depths near or exceeding 3 meters. ~35 cm of recent storm snow well bonded to older melt-freeze crusts. Top 5 to 15 cm is meltforms. Surfaces began to soften nicely around 1:00 p.m. Dry snow still persisting on NW through NE aspects
