Bear Lake was out of the fog.
About two feet of loose granules on the ground on top of the ridge. Crusts not an issue here.
Snowpack
Poking around in Garden City Canyon I found most places that I wanted to ski had about two feet of loose grained snow to the ground. Where I dug on the East side of the ridge I found no slab, but this was variable. Lacking a slab it seemed to hold little threat. The riding was mostly droppy and unsupportable, difficult trail breaking conditions.
