Quick report
Very weak depth hoar grains exist on the north side of Axtell, though the thin coverage is typically pockety and interrupted by rocks or shrubs. There are a few terrain features with enough old snow on them that I would be nervous/uncertain about if a slab formed above them.

HS on the shady side is only a few inches deep on north aspects, and fades to zero by ENE. Faceted grains were noticeably larger and weaker than what I observed yesterday at Star Pass: 3-5mm depth hoar, F- hard. See photos of coverage.
