The avalanche danger is MODERATE on steep slopes above 9500' that face northwest, north and northeast. Human triggered avalanches are possible in this terrain. Outside of this terrain the avalanche danger is generally LOW.

I'm collecting data and observations from the backcountry and will have details on the current snowpack structure and distribution in Tuesday's forecast.

Weather Outlook: We'll see partly cloudy skies on Tuesday then a series of storms will move through starting Wednesday and basically lasting through the weekend. The outlook is decent for more snow.
