Lo esencial

The overall avalanche danger is MODERATE today. Continue to watch for areas with recent deposits of wind drifted snow. Also keep an eye on how wet the snow surface becomes and move off of and out from underneath steep slopes that have become wet and sloppy. Neither of these issues should be too much of an issue with today's weather but don't let you're guard down!

Snow and Weather

Between warm temperatures and wind, only the upper elevation north facing protected areas are holding dry dense powder. Today will be quite mild again as a small disturbance moves through which might bring light snowfall. It is still looking fairly stormy over the next few days and into early next week and we should see 12 to 20 inches of snow over the next 6 days.
