5 cm of snow, and up to 25 cm in some localities, will fall, especially above approximately 2000 m. The sleet will give rise in the afternoon to increasing moistening of the snowpack below approximately 2200 m. The dry avalanches can be released in the new snow and wind slab layers and reach medium size. The number and size of avalanche prone locations will increase with altitude. As the snowfall level rises small and medium-sized wet and gliding avalanches are to be expected below approximately 2000 m. For those venturing off piste a treacherous avalanche situation will be encountered over a wide area.

The Avalanche Warning Service currently has only a small amount of information that has been collected in the field. 2 to 20 cm of snow, and up to 30 cm in some localities, fell during the day. The old snowpack will be generally well bonded. Towards its surface, the snowpack is unfavourably layered. The sleet gave rise in the afternoon to moistening of the snowpack below approximately 1700 m. Below approximately 2000 m a little snow is lying.
