The snowpack is mostly stable. Avalanche hazards may exist in isolated terrain features at the highest elevations. In extreme terrain like cliff and very steep gullies, chutes and couloirs isolated areas of unstable snow can have severe consequences. Carefully assess the terrain and snowpack.

Avalanche Discussion

On Sunday, expect clear skies overnight before cloud cover slowly increases in the afternoon. Expect inverted conditions to develop overnight with valley lows near freezing. As the day warms, temperatures will rise into the upper 20s at all elevations. Northwesterly ridgetop winds overnight will shift to the south during the day at 5 to 15 miles per hour.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be Low on Sunday. In very steep, avalanche prone terrain at the highest elevations, skiers and riders might be able to trigger an isolated pocket of slab one to two feet deep. Early season conditions exist in many areas, and normal caution is advised.
