Lo esencial
The General Avalanche Hazard at upper elevations is CONSIDERABLE today. Yesterday's storm dropped 10 to 12 inches of new, light density snow at the upper elevations. The light snow was drifted by strong west to northwest winds onto lee slopes creating easily triggered soft slabs to two feet in depth. Snowfall totals declined rapidly with descending elevation on the east slopes. The general avalanche hazard at mid elevations is MODERATE. Dangerous deep slabs persist in the Togwotee and Greys River areas and may yet lurk in the Tetons especially by high marking snow machines in the steep starting zones of major avalanche paths. The hazard at low elevations is LOW.
