The General Avalanche Hazard is LOW. Ridge crest winds continue to transport snow onto higher elevation avalanche paths. Low does does not mean no hazard exists and isolated pockets of surface slabs to over a foot in depth could be triggered in very steep wind loaded terrain.

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Northwest flow is expected to bring a few light snow showers to the area with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Mountain temperatures are to rise from the single digits to near twenty degrees in the afternoon while ridge crest winds from Northwest blow with 15-25 mph averages.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be Moderate at high elevations in the Tetons where pockets of slab could be human triggered in steep wind loaded terrain. The avalanche hazard is expected to be low at other elevations in the Tetons and the other forecast areas.
