Lo esencial
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE above 8,000 feet. Small pockets of soft surface slab less than a foot deep and loose snow lie upon slick suncrusts and buried surface hoar. Beneath the new snow old hard slabs one to three feet deep lie upon weak depth hoar. Humans who venture into steep avalanche prone terrain could trigger deep hard slabs, isolated pockets of shallow surface slab and/or shallow loose snow sluffs. At the lower elevations the general avalanche hazard is low. Avalanches are unlikely except for some shallow loose snow sluffs.
