Lo esencial

It was a warm evening with a very light freeze below an elevation of 8,500 feet. Avalanches are unlikely at the upper elevations. Wet slides are a possibility on very steep slopes at the mid and lower elevations. Monitor conditions and avoid steep terrain where the snowpack is wet, loose and unconsolidated. Roof slides continue to damage property and could harm people and pets.

At the mid and lower elevations wet snow avalanches are possible in steep terrain. At the lower elevations these slides could dig down to the ground.

Avalanche Discussion

Skies will be cloudy with areas of light snow possible over the Salt River and Wyoming Ranges. Temperatures will be in the teens and 20s in the mountains and in the 20s and 30s in the valleys. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be low. Mostly stable snow exists and avalanches are unlikely.
