At the highest elevations Sunday's northwest winds may have formed some very small pockets of wind slab. Normal caution is advised. Snow depths below an elevation of 8,500 are insufficient for avalanche activity.

Avalanche Discussion

Conditions will remain dry through Wednesday night as the upper ridge moves across the region. Temperatures will continue to be inverted in the morning and rise into the 30s and 40s. Light winds will begin to increase from the southwest in the afternoon, and clouds will also increase on Wednesday evening.The general avalanche hazard remains LOW at the higher elevations. Normal caution is advised. Snow depths below an elevation of 8,500 feet are insufficient for avalanche concerns.
