Lo esencial

Above freezing temperatures and rain will increase the potential for wet loose activity today.  If you observe pinwheels, rollerballs, or slushy wet snow up to your boot tops, avoid traveling under or on steep slopes.  Triggering a wet loose on slopes >35 degrees could push you into consequential terrain.

Temperatures have remained in the high 30s to low 40s over the past few days.  Expect to see rain today below 5500' starting around 11:00 am.  If you observe the surface snow forming roller balls, pinwheels,  it's time to consider simpler terrain.  Avoid traveling under steep slopes > 35 degrees, especially if they end in terrain traps or other exposed locations.
