Lo esencial

Snow surfaces will be firm in the morning. Use timing and aspect to find the best riding conditions. Monitor surface conditions; if the snow surface becomes slushy to a depth of 6 inches or more, you may be able to trigger small wet loose avalanches on steep slopes.

Avalanche Discussion

We have a generally strong snowpack. With a low temperature just below freezing overnight, I expect we will get a solid refreeze of the surface snow. I do not expect wet loose avalanches to be prevalant on Friday, but we could see some small ones if the surface snow becomes slushy. If the snow surface becomes slushy to a depth of 6" or more be cautious on steep slopes where getting knocked off your feet could have consequence.
