Avalanche Activity

The snowpack will be generally stable. Over a wide area only a little snow is lying.

The weather will be cold. Currently there are favourable conditions generally. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on extremely steep shady slopes. The avalanches are small and can only be released by large loads. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface.

Snowpack Structure

Little snow has fallen since Saturday. In the southeast 2 to 5 cm of snow, and up to 10 cm in some localities, has fallen. Less snow than usual is lying. Below the tree line from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.

Tendency

The avalanche danger will persist.
