Avalanche Activity
The conditions are favourable.
In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. As a consequence of warming during the day there will be only a very slight increase in the avalanche danger. Individual gliding avalanches are possible.
Snowpack Structure
Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be quite good over a wide area. The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust and will hardly soften at all. Less snow than usual is lying.
Tendency
Some snow will fall on Wednesday in some localities.
