As a consequence of warming more small and medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible below approximately 2000 m. As a consequence of warming, the likelihood of moist snow slides and avalanches being released will increase further in particular on steep sunny slopes below approximately 2000 m. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on steep sunny slopes and in gullies and bowls in all aspects. Individual weak layers exist in the old snowpack above approximately 2000 m. Small and medium sized avalanches are possible. This applies in particular in case of a large load. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on steep shady slopes above approximately 2000 m and in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. In particular wind-loaded slopes where weaknesses exist in the old snowpack are treacherous.
The weather conditions facilitated a gradual strengthening of the snowpack in particular in the east and in the southeast. The snowpack will be generally stable. Individual weak layers exist in the old snowpack on steep shady slopes. Individual weak layers exist in the snowpack also in gullies and bowls and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. The weather will be warm. The high temperatures will give rise to moistening of the snowpack. Further increase in danger of moist and wet avalanches as a consequence of warming.
