Avalanche Summary

Avalanches have become less frequent and harder to trigger, but the potential consequences remain concerning. Recently drifted slopes on shadier aspects are the most risky and likely places to trigger a dangerous slide. Avoiding stiffer wind-deposited slabs below ridges or steep breakovers, and seeking out softer snow in sheltered areas, will help keep you safe.
