Lo esencial

At upper elevations the possisibility persists to trigger a slab avalanche in avalanche starting zones and cliff areas that lie upon an older layer of weak facted snow and surface hoar. These dense slabs were formed by primarily West and Sothwest winds during our most recent storms and could be up to two feet in depth. At mid elevaions the possibility of triggering isolated pockets of these slabs exist on steep shaded avalanche paths. At low elevations avalanches are unlikely as the snowpack is shallow and lacks the weak layer.
