The new snow of the last few days is poorly bonded with the old snowpack. The fresh snow as well as the scattered wind slabs can be released in some cases at intermediate and high altitudes. This applies in particular on steep slopes, and in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. Avalanches can also be released in the old snowpack and reach medium size in particular on steep shady slopes. The avalanche prone locations are difficult to recognise.

15 to 25 cm of snow has fallen since Saturday above approximately 1800 m. Towards its surface, the snowpack is moist, in particular below approximately 2100 m. The new snow of the last few days is poorly bonded with the old snowpack. Towards its base, the snowpack is faceted. This applies in particular on steep east, north and west facing slopes,.

Some snow will fall in particular in the regions exposed to the foehn wind. The wind will be moderate to strong. Slight increase in avalanche danger.
