The general avalanche hazard is LOW today. Cooler temperatures have hardened the old snow surface. Last nights snow and more snow expected through the day today will result in isolated pockets of very small, shallow surface slabs that could be triggered in steep snow covered avalanche starting zones at the higher elevations.
