Avalanche Summary
You may be able to trigger an avalanche on high-elevation north and northeast-facing slopes, especially in gullies, couloirs, and concave features that catch and hold wind-drifted snow. The most dangerous slopes will have the most continuous snow cover and are the most inviting places to ride. Carefully weigh the consequences of getting caught and tumbled over rocks and hard ground before you ride.
